Zero experience, first playable game
Someone with no gamedev background used Codex and Claude together to ship a game that actually plays.
"First playable game" is a small claim with a large implication. The work that used to gate this — an engine, a language, a build pipeline, a weekend lost to a camera bug — is gone.
What remains is design judgement: deciding what the game is, noticing when it feels wrong, and knowing which of those two you are looking at. The agents handle translation.
Two agents rather than one is the detail worth stealing. When one gets stuck, handing the problem to a differently-trained model is often faster than re-prompting the same one.
